Hi,
The original cable (same with DCA140), not working to flash.
To flash you need to have pinouts configuration with the attached schematic.
Maybe help you this information,
br,
dagos

Question

Can someone confirm, if this is true?

Flashing with DIP-100?

I'm not sure.

Hmmm...
With DIP-100 and XCSD Tool V1.5.2 still 100% not work for flash.

With BenQ-Siemens XCSD154 Flashtool......I don't know.

Plus ought try.

I'm not sure. Because I don't have S88.

But I know. That also with V1.5.5 nobody has successfully flashed. With Original cable.

Maybe only the Driver for DIP-100 could be the solution???

DIP-102 is the right cable to do it. One can build also a cable of his own; to get the connector (plug), one have to sacrifice the earphones - or to buy the original ones somewhere else (eBay?!):
