i programed this software to convert voice memo files that recorded via siemens mobile phones recorder into mp3 or wav
its a cool GUI external converter
and it can manage the large vmo files
its is the beta release it may contain some bugs but will be fixed later

let me be the first to give some ideas :)
first of all i think that an OUTPUT-BROWSE button would be great (so as to choose a different folder for the mp3 than the vmo)
second, it doesn;t appear in the taskbar :D
apart those two i think that it is ok
very good job, keep on
i planed to but browse button in the final release and enable multiple files and also to make user monitor progress of converting and about it disn't apear in the task bar i'll fix that too

Now if you allow, I would like to ask you one question. I have a problem with wav files I’ve got from siemens vmo files. Here what’s happening. I just copy vmo files from mmc to computer with data exchange software and with files conversion opetion checked. I’ve got wav files which sounds fine and winamp plays it without any problems. Than I wanted to write that files on cd as audio cd. I did that, but after I try to hear, that files sounds very bad and it can’t be understand which voice belongs to who. I don’t know why this happened, but than I tried to normalize that files or convert it to mp3 but software I am using, audio catalyst, told me that this isn’t regular PCM wav files and that it can’t open it. Can you please explain me what’s happening and how could I burn some cd with this files but that it doesn’t be corrupted? Thanks.

I don't know if this works for someonne, because it isn't work for me. It just say converting and it stays like that for a long time until I break it. Why is that? How long is need for that software to do such thing?

sorry for late in replay i was in examinations in my college and my Hard Drive Also crash

the problem in burning the files from siemens on cd that the file quality is 8 bit mono file most software didn't read it
easily convert it to MP3 using by utilities and use Nero to write it in an audio cd
and about late in converting :
the program is beta version i didn't program progress monitor but when the vmo files is too large ittakes some time to convert it so just press convert and wait until it finish the time depend on the long of vmo file in minutes

i didn't try it in xp but i'm using windows me and 98 and it works perfectly there .. so the file may recuired u to install
( visual basic 6 runtime files ) u can find them in mircosoft website
or install any program programmed by vb6 i could make a setup file but in this case the file will be too large

u said i know the file link is dead how could i know i just try it and found my site hosting compony diasble my site becouse many downloads takes all my bandwidth and i sent to them to try to fix that so wait until i write a new link or my website return back

Wav would be a bridge, there are may tools to convert sound file from wav to other format. I use Soundforge, a powerful progem.

i program software that convert vmo to mp3 and as u see i put it in the form for free so thanks i'm not intersted in the software u mention and for records there is no software convert wav to midi by the same quilty the quility always is too bad coz midi is consists of channels or layers all layer contain notes and the device type but wav doesn't contain that so its some type of possible to get the same quality without external devices as in studios .. anyway thanks for yr offer and enjoy my software for free

KmK please little bit work,
Suggestion
1. can u make output file make exactly same as input vmo file? It seems your soft use old dos 8 char lentgh name for output.
2. If possible make progress bar.
3. Can select mass many vmo extention files for input.
Keep it man.
