dont do it.. Ive just killed my v800 and it wont start now.. Just the camera led which is lighted.. Someone who could help??

Hello,

do not tell people what to do

The flash is perfectly safe. No doubt in your case samething went wrong and the erom was erased from firmware - phone needs to be flashed with good main and FS (DO NOT COMPLETE/FINALIZE) then flash erom recovery file. Then you can finalize. and reflash if you wish.

Ill start from the beginning...
Im using a dss-25 syncstation and a V800
First I just wanted to know if the syncstation worked with the davinci program so I pressed the "read cid" and it worked.. But after it was done.. The phone´s camera led was "lighted" and the phone wouldnt turn on.. so i tried to flash with the phones cid number which is 29 and the vodafone firmware which it is.. but then after a while i get a lot of "Error! Block not accepted" and nothing happens... so i cancelled and tried z800 cid29 and the same problem occured and then the z800 latest firmware with cid36 and also the same.. 3credits gone

But worse is the phone.. It wont turn on again...
OOh btw.. The phone is unlocked since before if that helps??

Well it sounds like typical erom erased. You need to find the special erom file on the davinci server and then flash it. Sorry i am not familiar with davinci.

it's ok something gone wrong, i have the cellphone dead (so it seems) . so i need to reflash it with original v800 vodafone fw without finalize and then reflash with recovery, then reflash with z800 fw?? that's the way??

i'm trying to use recovery v800 cid29 and the process starts ok but after 1 min it lost the phone connection because (i think) the battery charge is low; tonight i get from a friend his v800 to use like charger and with full charge battery i try to do it again and hope to set the phone ready for a new flash. send results late

no way!!! try recovery cid29 with davinci no finalization ok, than flash with multi server z800 r2y... when arrived to start file system is gone....any idea??

hi

don´t worry, I had seen phones dead in this way,
use davinci server to flash v800 firmware R1D, is at davinci server, notice this is eu5 vodafone customized firmware, don´t complete phone!
once you successfully flash the phone use setool client to upload v800_db2000_erom file (this one is free thanks to the_laser),
once this file is uploaded (takes few seconds) power on the phone, is alive again but with R1D vodafone firmware,
if you wanna get rid of vodacrap/turn on z800 just flash other firmware,

operations will take 1 credit from davinci,

the second way to revive is use the recover R1J flash from davinci,
just flash it and phone will get back to life,
